The health sector in the state has made significant strides in the mission to tackle Covid. Health Minister Veena George said that one-third of the population in the state has received the first dose of the vaccine. The first dose was given to 33.88 percent of the population and 47.17 percent of the population over 18 years of age.
At the same time, 11.19 percent of the population and 15.57 percent of those over 18 years of age were vaccinated with the second dose. So far, a total of 1,50,58,743 doses of vaccine were given.
Of these, 1,13,20,527 were given the first dose and 37,38,216 were given the second dose.
