The prices of petrol and diesel have been hiked today also. Petrol price was hiked by 26 paise per litre and diesel by 31 paise. Petrol price in Thiruvananthapuram today is Rs 90.87 and diesel Rs 85.31.
In Kochi, petrol price is Rs 89.15 and diesel Rs 83.74. The prices are hiked for the eighth day in a row. Petrol price has crossed Rs 100 in rural areas of northern India. At Parbana in Maharashtra, the price of petrol nears Rs 101. Petrol price was increased by 29 paise and diesel by 34 paise.
Meantime, the price of domestic cylinders has been hiked by Rs 50 and this has come into effect. The new price will be Rs 759 per 14.2 kilograms. An amount of Rs 175 has been hiked for a cylinder from December 1st onwards.
