LSS : Latest Syllabus and scheme of examination

 

 

  • Questions for LSS exam is to be prepared taking into account the learning outcomes (ideas, knowledge, skills, attitude) the students might to be acquired upto class four.
  • In order to sustain the objectivity and reliability of the exam answers in details, multiple choice question and answer in one word / sentence questions are encluded.
  • Questions should be answered based on the keen knowledge and given importance to high thinking for the following:

-Coordination of knowledge

-Presentation of knowledge

-Analysis

-Evaluation / decision taking

-Creativity

 

Pattern of Exam

There are two papers for the LSS Exam

Time duration of each is one and half an hour

Paper (1)

Part (A) – First Language (Malayalam / Kannada / Tamil)                        20 scores

Part (B) : English           10 scores

Part (C) : General knowledge                                                                    10 scores

 

Total scores       40 scores

 

Paper (2)

Part (A) : EVS                                                                                              20 scores

Part (B) : Mathematics                                                                                 20 scores

 

Total scores       40 scores

 

Each paper of the LSS examination should be in the form of booklet. First page includes the roll number, instructions etc. Continuous pages has the questions and space for answers. The questions are like multiple choice questions, one word / sentence questions and descriptive type questions. Descriptive answer has 5 scores and multiple choice questions have 1 score.
