Kerala reported 7,871new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.60,494 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. 4,981 recoveries were reported in the state. 25 deaths were also confirmed of Covid-19 on Tuesday taking the official death toll to 884.6,910 persons developed the disease through contact. The virus source of 640 is unknown. 111 health workers also developed the disease. Among the new Covid cases reported, 54 persons had returned from abroad while 146 returned from other states.
