Two UK returnees also have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. So far, 43 UK returnees have tested positive for coronavirus. Their samples were sent to Pune NIV for further tests. Out of them, 6 have been identified as mutant virus strain.

Currently, there are 65,057 Covid positive cases in the state. Meanwhile, 7,22,421 people have recovered from the disease. There are 1,92,085 people under observation in the state. Out of this, 1,80,947 are under home/ institutional quarantine and 11,138 people are in hospitals. 1,352 people were taken to hospitals on Wednesday.u
