Seven of the UK returnees tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. So far, 63 UK returnees have tested positive for coronavirus. Their samples were sent to Pune NIV for further tests. Out of them, 9 have been identified as mutant virus strain.

Currently, there are 70,259 Covid positive cases in the state. Meanwhile, 7,83,393 people have recovered from the disease. There are 2,09,175 people under observation in the state. Out of this, 1,98,170 are under home/ institutional quarantine and 11,005 people are in hospitals. 1,060 people were taken to hospitals on Tuesday.
