Kerala reports 6,028 COVID-19 cases Today. 6,398 recoveries were reported in the state on Friday. 60,365 samples were tested in the past 24-hours. 28 deaths due to Covid were also confirmed by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the death toll in the state due to coronavirus rose to 1,997.

Malappuram – 1054, Kozhikode – 691, Thrissur – 653, Palakkad – 573, Ernakulam – 554, Kollam – 509, Kottayam – 423, Alappuzha – 395, Thiruvananthapuram – 393, Kannur – 251, Pathanamthitta – 174, Kasaragod – 138, Wayanad – 135 and Idukki – 85.

Negative Cases
Thiruvananthapuram – 611, Kollam – 664, Pathanamthitta – 137, Alappuzha – 824, Kottayam – 301, Idukki – 62, Ernakulam – 545, Thrissur – 803, Palakkad – 497, Malappuram – 740, Kozhikode – 634, Wayanad – 151, Kannur – 295 and Kasaragod – 134.

There are 67,831 active Coronavirus cases in Kerala while 4,81,718 have recovered. As many as 3,15,518 are under observation. Among them, 2,99,089 are in home/institutional quarantine while 16,429 are in hospitals. 2,032 were admitted to hospitals on Friday.

3 new Covid hotspots were identified in the state on Friday while 11 regions were removed from the list. There are a total of 557 hotspots in the state.
