Kerala on Saturday reported 6,357 Covid-19 cases. 6,793 recoveries were reported in the state on Saturday. 61,553 samples were tested in the past 24-hours. 26 deaths due to Covid were also confirmed by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the death toll in the state due to coronavirus touched 1,848.

63 health workers also tested positive for COVID-19. Among them, 12 are from Thiruvananthapuram, 10 from Kannur, 9 from Kozhikode, 8 from Thrissur, 4 each from Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam and Wayanad, 3 from Palakkad, 2 each from Kollam, Idukki, Kottayam and Kasaragod and 1 from Malappuram.
There are 76,927 active Coronavirus cases in Kerala while 4,41,523 have recovered. As many as 3,19,481 are under observation. Among them, 3,01,535 are in home/institutional quarantine while 17,946 are in hospitals. 2,180 were admitted to hospitals on Saturday.
2 new Covid hotspots were identified in the state on Saturday while 5 regions were removed from the list. There are a total of 609 hotspots in the state.
