Kerala reports 6,491 Covid cases Today. 5,770 recoveries were reported in the state on Wednesday. 66,042 samples were tested in the past 24-hours. 26 deaths due to Covid were also confirmed by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the death toll in the state due to coronavirus rose to 2,121.

There are 65,106 active Coronavirus cases in Kerala while 5,11,008 have recovered. As many as 3,14,676 are under observation. Among them, 2,98,616 are in home/institutional quarantine while 16,060 are in hospitals. 1,853 were admitted to hospitals on Wednesday.
3 new Covid hotspots were identified in the state on Wednesday while 13 regions were removed from the list. There are a total of 546 hotspots in the state.
