Kerala reports 3,966 COVID-19 cases Today. The district wise positive cases are: Malappuram – 612, Thrissur – 525, Ernakulam – 397, Kozhikode – 374, Palakkad – 351, Kottayam – 346, Thiruvananthapuram – 262, Alappuzha – 236, Kollam – 229, Pathanamthitta – 159, Idukki – 143, Kannur – 131, Wayanad – 105 and Kasaragod – 96. 23 deaths were confirmed in the state on Friday by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the total number of coronavirus fatalities rose to 2,171.
Out of the total number of positive cases, 81 people came from outside the state. 3,348 people contracted the virus through contact. The source of 488 cases have not been identified.
