So far, 62,62,476 samples were tested in different priority groups.21 deaths were confirmed in the state on Monday by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the total number of coronavirus fatalities rose to 2,244.

33 health workers tested COVID positive on Monday. The district wise cases of COVID positive health workers are: Kozhikode – 11, Thiruvananthapuram – 6, Kannur – 4, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram and Wayanad – 2 each, Palakkad, Kottayam, Kasaragod and Kollam – 1 each.
3,11,770 people are under observation across various districts in the state. Out of this, 2,96,094 people are in home/institutional quarantine and 15,676 people are in hospitals. 1,481 people were taken to hospitals on Monday.
6 new hotspots were identified in the state on Monday while 26 areas were removed from the list. In total, there are 504 hotspots in Kerala.
