5,032 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kerala Today . 60,521 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate is at 8.31 percent. So far, 67,02,885 samples were tested in different priority groups. 31 deaths were confirmed in the state on Tuesday by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the total number of coronavirus fatalities rose to 2,472.

37 health workers tested COVID positive on Tuesday. The district wise cases of COVID positive health workers are: Thrissur and Kannur – 7 each, Thiruvananthapuram – 6, Ernakulam and Wayanad – 5 each, Kozhikode – 3, Pathanamthitta and Palakkad – 2 each.
3,10,345 people are under observation across various districts in the state. Out of this, 2,96,204 people are in home/institutional quarantine and 14,141 people are in hospitals. 1,273 people were taken to hospitals on Tuesday.
